Google is adding support to preview of Android L on Nexus devices. And now it can be tried on. Last week at Google I/O event, the Android L source code was only made available for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) while other Nexus devices were left out. Now Google has added Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 10, and Nexus 4 to the Android L preview. Older Nexus devices like Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S were left by considering its age as a factor.
